Fall Peel & Glow Program

What is the Fall Peel & Glow Program?
The Fall Peel & Glow Program is a gentle, three-step chemical peel series designed for the transition from late summer to winter. Each visit layers controlled exfoliation with barrier-supportive finishing care. The goal is to reset brightness, refine texture, and help your skin face cooler, drier air with a stronger, more comfortable barrier. At Skin Essentials Med Spa, every treatment is performed by a licensed practitioner and calibrated to your skin type, tolerance, and schedule.
Who is it for?
- Dull or uneven tone after summer sun exposure
- Early fine lines and rough texture
- Post-blemish marks and mild discoloration
- Normal to resilient skin types, including balanced, combination, and oil‑prone
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, used isotretinoin in the last 6–12 months, have an active cold sore, open wounds, sunburn, or recent waxing/laser on the treatment area, we’ll select a different service or defer treatment for safety.
The Three Steps (about 4–6 weeks total)
- Step 1 — Prep & Glow (Week 1): A gentle enzymatic + lactic blend begins controlled exfoliation and lifts dull surface buildup. We finish with hydrating actives—ceramides, cholesterol, and soothing humectants—to support the barrier while kick‑starting brightness.
- Step 2 — Tone Reset (Week 2–3): A personalized mandelic/lactic or glycolic blend targets uneven tone and the look of enlarged pores. Intensity is adjusted to your tolerance. A cooling mask and replenishing emulsion calm the skin and restore lipids.
- Step 3 — Radiance Refinement (Week 4–6): The final pass focuses on refined texture and sustained glow. Depending on goals, we may use a multi‑acid solution or a low‑strength TCA blend. Post‑peel, we layer occlusive moisture and SPF for comfort and protection.
What to expect & downtime
- Day 0–1: Mild warmth or tingling during application; post‑treatment skin looks polished and slightly pink.
- Days 2–3: Light dryness or micro‑flaking around the nose, mouth, and chin is common. Avoid picking; allow flaking to shed naturally.
- Days 4–7: Brighter tone and smoother makeup wear. With each visit the result builds while downtime often shortens.
Aftercare (simple & effective)
- Cleanse with a gentle, non‑foaming cleanser; pat dry.
- Moisturize morning and night with a barrier‑supportive cream; add a hydrating serum if you feel tightness.
- SPF 30+ every morning (reapply if outdoors); avoid heat, saunas, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours.
- Pause strong actives (retinoids, scrubs, high‑percentage acids) for 3–5 nights after each peel unless your clinician advises otherwise.
Results & timeline
Most clients notice an immediate “fresh” look after Step 1, with more even tone appearing within the first two weeks. Texture looks smoother and post‑blemish marks start to fade as the series progresses. Because we layer improvements across three controlled sessions, your barrier stays comfortable while brightness builds. Results are maintained with a simple at‑home routine and seasonal tune‑ups.
Why our approach works
We match acid families (such as lactic and mandelic) to your goals and tolerance, then pair them with barrier‑focused finishing care. This combination encourages new, more even skin to surface while minimizing the risk of excessive dryness. Every session follows strict hygiene and clear consent, with photo tracking available on request.
